NO DEAL PETITION CROSSES 100K THRESHOLD

The pro-Brexit no deal petition launched on Parliament's website has now breached the 100,000 threshold required for it to be considered for a debate.  We need to get this petition up to a million very quickly.  Why?  Because when the famous "Revoke Article 50" petition reached a million signatures the media circus swung into action.  In fact some news outlets started pushing it as a story before it reached a million.  If there is a blanket media silence on a pro-Brexit petition at the same stage, then the bias will be clear for all to see.

THE FEW, NOT THE MANY

In Brexit betrayal week there were a number of votes in the Commons, each one returning a result that mocked the Leave mandate and opened our nation up to even more ridicule.  Labour MPs, along with a handful of Tory collaborators, have turned Great Britain into the laughing stock of the world.  Never forget that, especially come the next election.

The first key vote was largely overlooked by what followed, but it was eminently more crucial than the pathetic 'indicative votes'.  It was the vote to cancel Brexit Day - the 29th of March - and extend Article 50 to April 12th (if May's deal rejected) or May 22nd if her deal passed.  Disgracefully, the motion was passed by a huge majority of 334.  Only 105 opposed it - 93 Tories, all 10 DUP and 2 Labour.

OK, so let's see which Labour MPs supported Brexit this week.  Please note, it's a lot quicker than doing it the other way around!

198 Labour MPs supported a second referendum

Note that Stephen Hepburn, who had previously supported Brexit in all of this month's votes, opposed leaving with no deal.  This left Kate Hoey as the only Labour MP that has consistently supported Brexit throughout the process.

In the Labour party, Brexit is for the few - not the many.

TIG OPTS FOR CHANGE

Chuka's Independent Group are well aware of what's going to happen next with the Brexit process.  That's why they've announced they're finally registering as a political party with the Electoral Commission - in preparation to contest the European Elections in May.  The party name will be 'Change UK', even though there is nothing to 'change' at the moment as Britain appears to be remaining in the EU for the foreseeable future.  However, there will be a significant changes ahead if and when the quitters contest a general election - zero MPs for Change UK.

TIME TO GO, THERESA

A third defeat must surely have killed off May's deal, but no.  There are already reports she is preparing to submit it to Parliament a FOURTH vote in a desperate attempt to stave off a long extension that she knows will almost certainly signal the end of Brexit.  This is beyond embarrassing and she, aided by MPs, has made this country a laughing stock.  So what hope is there for the Leave mandate to be fulfilled?  With May as Prime Minister it appears to be precisely zero.

In responding to her latest defeat May pretty much committed us to the dreaded 'long extension' and once again ruled out no deal.  The EU, rubbing its hands with glee at the prospect, immediately scheduled a summit for April 10th, two days before the next scheduled departure.  This is where the 'long extension' will pass and Brexit will be effectively kicked into the dirt for good.  Democracy died on 'Brexit Day' - killed by hundreds of contemptuous MPs on all sides, killed by cowardly two-faced Corbyn and his party of Remainers and killed by Remain facilitators such as May and Bercow.

May could have easily got us out of the EU, on time with no deal.  She's not interested in that option and quite simply it is her deal or no Brexit.  We know that now, she's staked her leadership on it and effectively killed Brexit.  The mandate given to Parliament can no longer be achieved with her in Number Ten.  She has to go, otherwise there is just no hope.

On #BrexitBetrayalDay some of the left-leaning rags have barely mentioned it on their front pages (the Mirror and the Metro for example), while others have used their front pages to desperately urge MPs to back May's deal (the Daily Mail and the Sun).

GUARDIAN NAILS IT (FOR ONCE)

MPs had spent months hammering the government over failing to forge a decision on Brexit.  Last week MPs voted to 'take control' of proceedings and last night they reached a decision themselves - on absolutely nothing.  Eight times they voted and eight times they failed to reach a majority.

Today's Guardian front page headline summed up the latest farce perfectly...

MELANIE G-ONN

Melanie Onn has resigned from Labour's front bench in order to defy a three line whip on voting for a second EU referendum.  The (now) former Shadow Minister for Housing represents Great Grimsby, one of the most pro-Leave constituencies in 2016 with a whopping 71%.  Melanie's majority in Grimsby was almost halved between 2015 and 2017, so in voting against the second referendum she clearly has an eye on safeguarding her seat.

Three other front benchers abstained from the vote - Andrew Gwynne, Ian Lavery and Jon Trickett.  A number of backbench Labour MPs also rebelled or abstained.  It seems that the so-called 'People's Vote' is going to cause some grief for the party in the weeks ahead.

ON THIS DAY IN 1973, CORBYN'S MATES...

The Provisional IRA killed a young British Army officer in a landmine attack.  A two-vehicle army patrol was travelling along the A5 towards their base in Omagh, Co Tyrone, when the 500lb device was detonated.  Second Lieutenant Andrew Somerville was in the turret of the lead vehicle, a Ferret armoured car.  He was killed almost immediately, while the driver escaped with minor injuries.

The huge device had been concealed in a concrete pipe that ran underneath the road.  The driver in the second vehicle said the crater left by the explosion stretched across the road.

Lt Somerville was 20-years-old and serving with the 16/5 Lancers.  He came from Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire.

WHY SO QUIET BEN?

Barmy Ben Bradshaw is a remoaner MP who has literally been driven mad by Brexit.  He first raised his Russian conspiracy theory in Parliament two years ago and has been bleating about it ever since.  Crucially he got one simple fact horribly wrong from the beginning - none of it was proven.  Now that Robert Mueller has finally issued his report on alleged Russian interference Ben Bradshaw has gone deafeningly quiet.  Some of Ben's crazed ramblings from the last two years can be seen in the compilation video below...

Unfortunately no-one has ever heard of Ben Bradshaw in the United States, so there was no room for him in the following video, but we'd like to dedicate this one to you Ben...

BERCOW ADMITS EU LAW SUPERIOR

Brexiteer Kate Hoey managed to draw out a cracking soundbite from Remain facilitator John Bercow yesterday.  The Labour MP's coy question got an admission from the Speaker than EU law "trumps" UK law, nothing particularly newsworthy there, but coming straight from the horse's mouth she knew it would be replayed a thousand times.  Enjoy...

MPs have voted to 'take control' of Brexit, a worrying development indeed when considering most of them want to stop it.  Only eight Labour MPs voted with the government on the latest amendment.  It was largely a case of the usual suspects;

Rosie Cooper hasn't been particularly supportive of Brexit in the past, but she did reject the second referendum amendment earlier this month.  It's highly unlikely we'll see many more Labour MPs suddenly find a conscience, but we live in hope.  The independents that voted with the government included former Labour MPs Frank Field and Ian Austin.

NO PUNCH THROWN

The final proof that Diane Abbott was lying about her version of the egging incident has been revealed.  CCTV footage from inside the mosque shows the moment John Murphy got up from his chair and slapped the egg on Corbyn's head.  It directly contradicts Diane's assertion that he "punched Jeremy very hard".  Look closely...

If you watch Murphy's hand as he pulls back you can see that it is open.  We knew this all along, because to plant an egg on someone's head requires a palm, not a fist.  In fact the only person that gets punched during this incident appears to be Murphy himself, by the small Muslim lady in the hi-vis jacket!

A MILLION LIES AND ONE BAD EGG

The Remain media bias exposed itself today in two ways.  Firstly, there was the revelation that - shock, horror, wait for it - there weren't actually a million remoaners on the march on Saturday.  The 'one million' figure has featured in headlines across the media since Saturday, but a more honest estimate has now been independently reached and it's more like 350,000.  Not surprisingly this revelation has been carried by approximately zero news outlets, therefore leaving the public not only misinformed, but cynically disinformed.

The second case of Remain bias relates to the conviction of John Murphy, the man who squished an egg on Corbyn's head.  Just look at the headlines below, can you see a pattern?

It's almost as if the press wants everyone to know it was a "Brexiteer" what did it!  Imagine if a Remainer had done it?  Such is the biased narrative at the moment one wonders if it would even merit a headline.

DAFT DAVIES' FASCIST TWEET

Geraint Davies is the Labour MP for Swansea West.  He's a hardcore remoaner who promotes Project Fear scare stories and recently defied party whips to back the second referendum amendment.  On Saturday he was a surprise absence from the Loser's March, but his Twitter account was busy and shortly after 3pm he issued this beauty...

It's an astonishing tweet.  Firstly, the march was anything but democratic.  It's sole purpose was to instigate the reversal of a democratic vote - the Leave vote of June 2016.  Secondly, his reference to a "fascist state" was something that you'd expect to find on the pages of some obscure Marxist publication, not attributed to a Member of Parliament.  In any case, surely the only people that could be described as 'fascists' were those marching to overturn a democratic decision!

EGG CHUCKER GETS 28 DAYS

John Murphy, the man who squashed an egg on Corbyn's head earlier this month, has received a 28 day prison sentence for assault.  The 31-year-old from Barnet pleaded guilty at Westminster Magistrate's Court today and was told that an example would be made of him as "attacks on MPs must stop".  It was an egg, not a grenade for goodness sake!

Mr Murphy was frustrated at Labour's recent Brexit policy u-turn and shouted "Respect the vote" as he egged the Great Leader.  Corbyn appeared at the hearing and laid it on thick saying: "The assault was completely unprovoked and threatening".  Apparently poor Jezza was left with a 'red mark'.

Diane Abbott was not at the hearing, despite being a witness and her previous assertion that Corbyn was 'punched'.  The word 'punch' was not mentioned during today's hearing, as we all know you cannot egg someone and punch them simultaneously with the same hand!

If sentencing and punishment is consistent then Murphy will be out in two weeks.  We'll leave the final word up to Diane...

MOST SHARED: WEEK 205

As the fallout from yesterday's big Loser's March continues, this BTLP original is still live and has been shared 3,228 times at the time of writing.  The 'revoke Article 50' petition is approaching 5 million signatures, but this will drop off as soon as the media stops pushing it down everyone's throats.  Pretty meaningless anyway, unless we are expected to accept the opinions of signatories from Afghanistan to Zanzibar over eligible British voters.

PS. Looking at old Vince Cable loitering behind Sadiq Khan makes you wonder if he got any abuse from the spiteful remoaners.  He's about as 'gammon' as they come (and no-one knows who he is).

Apparently some sections of the Loser's March today were singing "Where's Jeremy Corbyn" as opposed to "Oh Jeremy Corbyn".  This was in response to the notable absence of said Great Leader (and lifelong Eurosceptic).  He was in Lancashire.  His deputy Tom Watson was at the march, but there weren't many other frontbenchers in attendance - if any, in fact.  Nope, not even Keir Starmer.  There were plenty of backbench MPs present though and here's our list of the traitors on show...

CORBS FLED NORTH

As the limp-wristed left marched in their thousands in London, the Great Leader was nowhere to be seen.  Perhaps it was no surprise for a lifelong EU critic, but Jezza had got himself as far away as possible.  Despite being a London MP, he made a 250-mile-plus trip to canvass in Leave-voting Morecambe, Lancashire, on the day of the march.  Here's the tweet to prove it...

MEDIA BLACKOUT ON REMAIN HARASSMENT

This week we've seen the MP for Brighton Kemptown all over the news after a Leave voter harassed him in the street.  We've also seen a pro-Brexit activist in court for harassing Anna Soubry (again, all over the news).  No such news splashes for Stephanie Peacock, Labour MP for Barnsley.

You may recall she resigned from the front bench a couple of weeks ago in order to vote against a second referendum.  Yesterday she found herself on the receiving end of harassment - Remain style - and a media blackout despite her tweet...

What a lovely photo.  A young lady, her baby and a big dog (for man points), you just couldn't ask for more in a photo opportunity.  It's got it all.

Corbyn was speaking to local people after attending the funeral of his colleague Paul Flynn.  One witness told The Sun:  "He was in a dreadful muddle".  That is a sentence that could easily sum up his flip-flopping Brexit position!

MEDIA BLACKOUT ON REMAIN HATE

The bitterness and hate spewed forth by Remainers online barely gets noticed in the mainstream media.  To publicise it would detract from the narrative that only Brexiteers are capable of such bile.  This week various celebs, most notably Hugh Grant, used their lofty positions to try and overturn the referendum result, labeling Leave voters 'insane'.  Of course there were no howls from the establishment about it, with the exception of populist Piers Morgan...

Remoaners have hit out at dead people before, they even set up a website called 'Deatherendum' in celebration of elderly Leave voters dying off.  Type this into Google and you'll only get one news report about this site, courtesy of the Evening Standard.  And even this report spun the story in such a way that the website had to be taken down because of 'horrific abuse' (at the hands of Brexiteers, naturally).

The bias is shocking.

HIGH COURT BID TO STOP VOTER ID FAILS

Earlier this week an important hearing took place in the High Court.  A legal challenge had been mounted against the government's plans to make ID a requirement at the ballot box.  Fortunately the challenge was defeated and trials will go ahead as planned in May's local elections.

This is long overdue.  For too long elections and referenda in this country have been woefully exposed to electoral fraud.  This is particularly true in areas with high concentrations of south Asian people, such as Tower Hamlets (a prime example).  In places like Birmingham and the northern mill towns it is a common assertion that 'even dead Muslims vote'.

When the government announced the ID scheme there were howls from the opposition.  With Labour being the chief beneficiary of such fraud it's not difficult to see why they disapproved.  Of course they couldn't argue on this basis, so they made tenuous accusations of 'discrimination'.  They've even said voter ID would be 'undemocratic' and prevent people voting.  The idea is that it will prevent people voting - twice or more!

Voter ID laws in the United States met with similar opposition from the Democratic party.  Why?  Because like our own Labour party, the Democrats are the main beneficiary of electoral fraud within certain communities.

The British government has said that local authorities would provide ID to those who do not have the required documentation - free of charge.  This has not allayed Labour's resistance, but it was not Labour that brought the legal challenge this week.  Not directly anyway.

Neil Coughlan crowdfunded the challenge and raised over £30,000 to do so.  His campaign has won direct praise from the Labour party and his Twitter account is followed by several Labour MPs including Jeremy Corbyn himself.  Neil also follows the Facebook page of his local Labour party (see below).  Then there is Neil's promo video, a professional job that is hard to imagine he produced himself.

It's highly unlikely we've heard the last of this story, but one thing is for sure - it's not democracy that Labour are looking to defend.  Far from it.

LAB-CON SINK IN BY-ELECTION

The Corbyn 'surge' was nowhere to be seen in Newcastle-under-Lyme last night.  A council by-election in the Staffordshire town threw up an intriguing result.

Of course council elections can have a lot of local factors tied in, so perhaps best not to make too much of the fall in support for both Labour and the Tories, but it is interesting to note that the UKIP vote saw a small increase.  The real indicator will come on the 4th of April in the Newport West by-election.  Will the Brexit betraying parties bomb in that too?

MARCH TO LEAVE: DAY SIX

The March to Leave crossed into South Yorkshire today, ending up in Leave-voting Doncaster.  This time tomorrow they will have reached the East Midlands.  It does appear as if the march is building a bit of momentum going into the weekend and Remainer MP Anna Soubry will surely have helped to boost numbers by mocking the march in a TV bust-up with Nigel Farage today.

Labour MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle has leapt on the victimhood bandwagon today with claims that someone "tried" to assault him.

The remoaner MP was in his Brighton Kemptown constituency at the time of the "assault".  Russell-Moyle immediately linked the incident with Theresa May's statement last night in which she pointed the finger of blame at MPs for the Brexit stalemate.  Remain MPs have expressed fury at her words, including the likes of Liz Kendall, Wes Streeting, Lisa Nandy and Caroline Lucas.  Speaker Bercow added his weight to their cause in the Commons today when he kindly and smugly exonerated them of any wrongdoing.

Trying to paint themselves as the 'victims' in all of this is going to do them no favours.  After all it's not May who has pit them against the country, they have done that themselves by their own shameful actions.  If this country doesn't leave the European Union a week tomorrow - yes May has to take a big chunk of the blame - but we must never forget the role in which Brexit blocking MPs have played with their endless amendments and stalling votes.

PRO-BREXIT SONG IS AMAZON BEST SELLER

Dominic Frisby's awesome Brexit song is currently outselling the likes of George Ezra, Pink, Dido and Jack Savoretti on Amazon!  There's still no sign of it in the music charts, although curiously it's listed as an "album" on Amazon, so perhaps this isn't helping to push it into the singles chart.  It would be great to see it chart on Sunday, the final chart before we are due to Leave...

STREETING THEATRICS

Labour's Wes Streeting wins the award for most over-the-top tweet of the week.

I’ve thought long and hard before saying this, but @theresa_may knows that MPs across the House are subjected to death threats - some very credible. Her speech was incendiary and irresponsible. If any harm comes to any of us, she will have to accept her share of responsibility.

It's no wonder Labour MPs are so scathing of May's statement.  The truth is that MPs are largely to blame for the current impasse, and those MPs are predominantly Labour.  Labour MPs overwhelmingly blocked May's deal.  Twice.  Labour MPs overwhelmingly rejected no deal and overwhelmingly voted for the dreaded extension.  Now they are moaning that the extension is not long enough!

Streeting is a prominent supporter of the so-called 'People's Vote' campaign.  Given the contempt with which Labour MPs regard the 52%, perhaps it should come as no surprise that the constituency he claims to represent voted LEAVE by 53%.

A nice touch from the marchers today as they arrived in Pontefract, West Yorkshire.  This is the seat of one of the most cynical remoaners in Parliament - Yvette Cooper.  Normanton, Pontefract and Castleford returned one of the strongest Leave votes in the country - 69% - but that didn't stop the odious Cooper from trying to sabotage Brexit at every turn!  Good work March to Leave!!

Tomorrow:  Pontefract to... Doncaster?  The original route, as planned, is pictured below.  However, the route has now disappeared from the March to Leave website, so either major shortcuts are planned or they are just trying to throw off the remoaners...

Brussels megalomaniac Guy Verhofstadt came under fire yesterday from an unexpected quarter.  BBC snowflake Jeremy Vine happened upon a video of Verhoftwat ranting and raving about his hopes for a centralised single European state - similar to what Hitler aspired to.  These people are seriously dangerous.  Vine was not impressed either.

MARCH TO LEAVE: DAY FOUR

The intrepid marchers were supposed to cross into West Yorkshire today, their target the small town of Wetherby.  For some unknown reason they stopped eight miles short at Knaresborough.  Presumably they were bussed the rest of the way (cheating again!)  Still no sign of Farage, perhaps he will turn up on Saturday in Mansfield to rally the troops?  If today is anything to go by, they may be tiring.

REMAINERS VS REMOANER

Bullshit and bluster from Blair this morning as Morgan and Reid teamed up against him.  Both supported Remain in the referendum, but unlike remoaner Blair they have some respect for the result!  Morgan scored some good hits on the Euro (supported by Blair, opposed by Brown) and, of course, Iraq.  Wrong then, wrong now Tony...

BOLLOCKS TO BERCOW

John Bercow must have been busy swotting up in the last week to uncover a 400-year-old rule that states a motion cannot be represented in the same form twice.  You've got to hand it to him.  He's determined to get what he wants - Britain to Remain a member of the EU.

Brexiteer MPs have been increasingly frustrated by the Speaker's clear bias over the course of the Brexit debate.  However, bully Bercow's a shrewd operator and generally has an answer for everything.  He swans around in a car displaying anti-Brexit stickers, has extra curricular meetings with Remain MPs like Ken Clarke and there's nowt anyone can do about it.

The Speaker's smug face dominates the front pages today.

The March to Leave continued to trudge across North Yorkshire today as the clock ticks down and Speaker Bercow threw a spanner in the works (again).  The march was today joined by Taz, putting 17.4 million to shame by flying all the way in from Thailand to participate!  See what he had to say below...

Tomorrow: Aldfield to Wetherby

The next leg of the march is the first to skip a section, in other words the March to Leave is cheating.  For whatever reason the organisers have arranged to bus participants along some parts of the route and tomorrow they will miss out a whopping 30 miles.  They'll still be in North Yorkshire at the off, but they'll end up in West Yorkshire.
