CORBYN EGGED

A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after an egg was 'thrown' at Jeremy Corbyn.  The Met's finest were quickly on the case...

"On Sunday, 3 March at around 3.52pm an egg was thrown at a member of parliament.   A 41-year-old man was quickly detained by officers on scene and arrested on suspicion of assault.  He is currently in custody at a north London police station".

Corbyn was visiting the Finsbury Park Mosque where he is a frequent visitor.  Thankfully, the Great Leader was unhurt, despite the egg having been allegedly smashed on top of his head at point blank range!

Sky News reports that the attacker was an angry Leave voter, probably upset at the two-faced Labour leader's u-turn on staging a second EU referendum.
