Despite Amber Rudd's swift apology - and the fact she was actually defending Diane at the time of the heinous 'crime' - the Abbott is still refusing to let it slide. The decent thing to have done would have been to accept the apology and move on, there are more important things after all - Brexit, the battle for the Premier League and, of course, Shamima Begum's baby. The problem is that Diane is not the forgiving kind. She is a bitter old leftie lugging a tree trunk around on her shoulder. Amber Rudd is not guilty of the crime of the century, neither is Diane, but which is worse?
