Like many other candidates desperate to join/stay on the EU gravy train, Adonis is telling huge porkies about Labour's Brexit position. He is portraying Labour as a hard Remain party, but Labour's own literature for this election tells a different story. It mentions supporting a 'public vote', but only if talks fail (check) and there is no general election. Labour is hopelessly divided on the issue and many of its MPs refuse to support a second referendum. Contrast this with real hard Remain parties such as the Lib Dems, Greens, 'Change UK' and SNP/Plaid. Those parties are very clear about overturning the Leave mandate and consequently Labour is reported to be haemorrhaging votes to the Lib Dems in particular.
