HOME TO ROOST

We've always said that Labour's pandering to the few, not the many, will one day come home to roost.  It's simply not possible to appease and accommodate both the LGBT community and the Muslim community.  At some point those interests are going to clash.

The street protests by Muslim parents in Birmingham against LGBT school lessons have now been raging for months.  Labour has largely ignored the protests, unable to back one side or the other for fear of offending anyone (and losing votes).  Sounds a bit like their attitude to Brexit doesn't it?

There has been support for the protesters in the form of Birmingham Ladywood MP Shabana Mahmood.  The Labour MP defended the parents' rights to withdraw their children from the lessons.  Non-Muslim MPs have remained silent, until now!

The following exchange took place between Birmingham Yardley MP Jess Phillips and Muslim protesters.  The Muslim lad in the video appears to be exasperated that the Labour MP is not supporting them, accusing her of being "intolerant" and the clip finishes with him accusing her of being "aggressive".

Poor Jess, she's always put her Muslim voters first, but now the homophobic chickens are coming home to roost.
