John Ra McDonnell certainly got himself in the limelight this week, but it's highly doubtful his stint at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival gave Jezza much to laugh about. McDonnell provoked a Labour civil war
shitstorm over IndyRef2, said he would lock up Tories if Labour came to power and perhaps most controversially claimed he would stage a coup if Boris lost the no confidence vote. It all sounds bonkers and he will undoubtedly claim he was joking when his next interview comes around. However, we know that McDonnell is a very sinister figure and someone who has made similar statements about locking up political opponents...
This is straight up communist behaviour, but then McDonnell has made no secret of the fact he is a Marxist...
It's a genuinely frightening prospect that these people are so close to power. If they do somehow sneak into Downing Street, abolish the monarchy, surrender Overseas British Territories, sanction a border poll in Northern Ireland and IndyRef2 in Scotland, begin imprisoning political opponents, dissolve Parliament, nationalise everything, collapse the economy, abandon our borders, it will definitely be no joke. There is so much at stake and this is why we must expose them at every opportunity.
