This was the question posed to Diane Abbott when she addressed protesters in London yesterday. She came to the stage and announced that she was speaking on his behalf and that
"before too long Jeremy will be in 10 Downing Street". However, many in the crowd responded by chanting
"Where's Jeremy Corbyn". Leftists then tried to drown out the embarrassing chant with their signature chant
"Oh, Jeremy Corbyn", but the original chant is clearly audible about one minute in (see below).
Corbyn was actually in Glasgow yesterday addressing protesters there. Given that some on the left thought they could hijack these protests and spark a revolution that would bring Corbyn to power, it wasn't a very confident message to deliver to his followers. He couldn't exactly lead the revolution and storm Downing Street from 400 miles away!
