Following the Queen's Speech frontbencher Laura Pidcock spoke to Channel 4's Krishnan Guru-Murthy and showed viewers that she is in way over her head (like so many of her colleagues). It wasn't quite as bad as an Abbott or Burgon interview, but she is clearly very inexperienced at this game (despite being persistently spoken up as a future leader). At times during the interview she appears confused, stalls for time and repeats over and over the same thing - "hypothetical" is a popular word - and says that Labour has
"always said that people should have the final say" (on Brexit). However, she was elected on a manifesto that said Labour
accepts the referendum result. As a further example of her naivety/stupidity she doesn't appear to know what meat is produced from sheep, despite the fact she represents a rural constituency. Shocking, watch below.
If this is the future leader of the Labour Party, they are in for a long stretch in opposition.
