It's almost impossible to fathom how Pidcock is so often spoke of as a 'future Labour leader'. If this is the best the hard left have to offer, they will never win an election.

PIDCOCK TRIES TO DEFEND ASHWORTH
Following yesterday's disastrous leak for Labour's Jon Ashworth, it was Laura Pidcock's turn to field some awkward questions this morning. Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid were keen to explore some of Ashworth's remarks with Laura, but she was intent on bringing the conversation back to the NHS. Labour have been desperate to focus on the NHS this election for very good reason. Their Brexit policy is a disaster in the north of England, south Wales and the Midlands, areas where Labour couldn't afford to lose seats if they were to stand any chance of winning this election. As a Remainer, Pidcock is also naturally keen to avoid the Brexit issue. She is under threat of losing her North West Durham seat tomorrow night to the Conservatives and is predicted to cling on at best.
