Jeremy Corbyn's reaction to the assassination of General Soleimani was predictable as ever. He tweeted that the UK should "stand up to the belligerent actions and rhetoric coming from the US" and followed this up with a letter to the Prime Minister (see below) demanding an urgent meeting of the Privy Council. It appears that the Great Leader is stuck in his hard left bubble - one of only two places where he has any importance or political significance whatsoever. The other is in his own mind. He just got smashed in the election and most of his seats were lost in the Brexit heartlands. Yet what do we hear this week? He has tabled another Brexit-blocking amendment to try and stop us leaving at the end of this month. In an ideal world this loser would continue in his post and destroy his party for good. Sadly, a leadership election beckons, albeit containing a field of Brexit blockers. The future is not bright for Labour. As they say in Game of Thrones - the North remembers.
