NANDY... FOR THE IRON THRONE?

The GMB trades union has endorsed Lisa Nandy and Angela Rayner for the Labour leadership and deputy roles.  Rayner has already qualified for the deputy ballot, but the endorsement is crucial for Nandy as she now only requires one more affiliate nomination to qualify for the leadership ballot.  Embarrassingly for the left, she could get there before Long-Bailey.

In a bizarre move the union followed up their announcement by mocking up pictures of both Nandy and Rayner as characters from Game of Thrones and The Hunger Games.  The third largest trades union in the UK?  Embarrassing...
