NUGEE ON A KNIFE EDGE

Nominations for the Labour leadership close today and Emily Thornberry is painfully close to qualifying for the ballot.  In the last two days over a hundred Constituency Labour Parties have declared who they are backing and nine of those opted for Lady Nugee.  At the close of play on Thursday she stood at 30 nominations - three short of the target.  There are just 17 of of the 647 CLPs left to declare, although they are under no obligation to nominate anyone.  Will three of them take pity on her?
