Following on from last Saturday's hustings
spat in Nottingham, Emily Thornberry took a more subtle swipe at Rebecca Long-Bailey on last night's Newsnight debate. When the issue of anti-Semitism arose, Lady Nugee announced that she and Keir Starmer were very vocal about it in the Shadow Cabinet, suggesting that Long-Bailey wasn't. As Long-Bailey fought back, Starmer stepped in and quelled the argument like a boss, leaving two of his competitors looking like squabbling children. Lisa Nandy then interrupted Starmer and made her own point, putting Starmer and therefore all of the above in their place. Sterling stuff, watch below.
