HARTLEY-BREWER VS BURY COUNCILLOR

TalkRadio's Julia Hartley-Brewer was involved in an ill-tempered exchange with a Labour councillor on her show this morning.  Bury Metropolitan Borough Council is one of the local authorities who have announced they will defy the government's plan to get children back to school on June 1.  The rebel authorities are overwhelmingly Labour-controlled and Bury is no exception.  Local councillor Tamoor Tariq took exception to Julia's assessment that his council were a "bunch of idiots" and were politicising children's education.  It's surely no coincidence that left-wing trade unions and Labour politicians are teaming up to make the back-to-school plan as chaotic as possible.  Once again, it's nothing to do with safeguarding people's health.
