HOEY HITS OUT AT BILL CRITICS

Former Labour MP and Brexiteer Kate Hoey has hit out at MPs planning to vote against the Internal Market Bill.  Speaking to TalkRadio's Mike Graham on Monday morning, Hoey described opposition to the bill as "the last gasp of people who have never wanted us to leave the European Union".  She also said they didn't care about Northern Ireland, adding: "If you do accept that somehow it's going to threaten the peace process by having a border between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, why is it not then breaking the Good Friday Agreement to have a border down the Irish Sea?"

As an Ulster native and proud Unionist, Kate - soon to be Baroness Hoey when she joins the House of Lords - knows a thing or two when it comes to politics in Northern Ireland.
