LABOUR'S QURESHI DISCHARGED

Labour frontbencher Yasmin Qureshi has been discharged from hospital following her battle with coronavirus.  The MP for Bolton South East was admitted last Saturday after she developed pneumonia, having spent two weeks self-isolating following a positive coronavirus test.  Qureshi had been supporting Andy Burnham in his fight against the government's local lockdown restrictions, despite warnings that delays would lead to further loss of life.  You'd have thought that after spending six days in hospital with the virus it might have altered her perspective, but yesterday she shared a petition on her Facebook page entitled 'We Back Burnham'.

This morning Qureshi confirmed her discharge from the Royal Bolton Hospital.

Qureshi is the third MP to have been hospitalised by Covid 19 this year, following Boris Johnson and her Greater Manchester colleague Tony Lloyd.
