Nigel Farage echoed the worries of many Brexiteers earlier this week when he denounced the 'Carrie coup' as a potential threat to Brexit. Without the influence of Vote Leave architects Lee Cain and Dominic Cummings, we could well be heading for a 'watered-down' Brexit says Farage.
Speaking to TalkRadio's Mike Graham, the Brexit Party leader gave an insight into how Boris operates and had some strong words for the PM, accusing him of 'cowering' in Downing Street at a critical time. Farage says that a negative Covid test would free Boris from quarantine and allow him to meet with Michel Barnier directly. People travelling to the UK are permitted to take a Covid test five days after arrival, so why - seven days after his meeting with infected MP Lee Anderson - can't the PM get himself tested?
Numerous issues - from Brexit and immigration to lockdowns and 'levelling up' - pose serious threats to the PM's tenure: "It's the beginning of the end of Boris's premiership unless he changes tack - very, very quickly". It's hard to disagree. Watch below.
