The swing to Labour shows no sign of stopping with two of the most recent opinion polls giving Starmer's lockdown enthusiasts a lead. Opinium and YouGov give Labour a 4 and 5 point lead respectively, while Survation gives the Tories a 2 point lead.
YouGov hasn't exactly showered itself in glory recently, having confidently announced that Joe Biden was going to obliterate Donald Trump. Using the 'MRP model' that had mixed results predicting last year's general election, YouGov forecast that Biden was going to win a landslide victory 382-156. In reality the final result looks like being 306-232. YouGov predicted Florida, Texas, Ohio and North Carolina would turn blue. They didn't. To be fair, US pollsters didn't fair any better.
The sample sizes for the following polls were 2,003 (Opinium), 1,034 (Survation) and 1,665 (YouGov).
