As talk intensifies of a brutal reshuffle by Keir Starmer, the newly re-elected mayor of Greater Manchester has piled in with the following tweet.
This is a man high on his own self-importance, having just won a huge re-election mandate. Anyone who has a cartoon rendering of themselves as a profile picture is a prime narcissist, but we suspect that Burnham may well have designs on a future leadership bid. It wouldn't be his first punt, but not being a current MP is a major obstacle in the short-term.
