CORBYN ATTACKS 'INSIPID' STARMER

Happier days

Jeremy Corbyn has refused to say whether Keir Starmer should quit the Labour leadership.  Corbyn was interviewed by Krishnan Guru-Murthy on Friday night and said it was 'up to him [Starmer] what he decides to do'.  Corbyn talked up his own record and party policies, suggesting that his successor had abandoned those policies and had offered 'nothing but insipid support for the government'.

Asked whether he could ever see himself moving back into frontline Labour politics, Corbyn gave a defiant broadside at his ongoing suspension: "I've never left Labour politics, I will always be part of Labour politics and my voice will always be there".  It's clear that Corbyn is still bitter about his treatment at the hands of Starmer.
