With the arrival of GB News the broadcast media narrative on lockdown is being broken. The channel launched just in time - the day before the PM announced the latest extension of coronavirus restrictions - and the front pages on Tuesday morning clearly reflected a change in mood. The Telegraph even went as far as to print a photograph of an anti-lockdown protest, something that the media has until now treated with a sinister blanket of silence. GB News, for all its early glitches, is changing the media landscape - as we all hoped that it would. Bravo!
