Priti Patel labelled the custom 'gesture politics' and attacked BLM for attempting to re-write history and topple statues - including the Colston statue in Bristol. When asked about the persistent booing of the gesture in football, Patel refused to criticise fans.
While it's always nice to see a politician condemn BLM, a more pressing matter for the Home Secretary may be the ongoing uninhibited invasion upon our southern shores. One wonders if her superior even bothered to raise it with Emmanuel Macron given their recent encounter in Cornwall.
