Just one by-election this week and it's a Tory gain from Labour in the West Midlands. Labour had held this seat against the Conservatives in May when it was a two-way contest. Prior to the 2021 local elections Labour had held every seat in Sandwell, but lost nine seats (now ten) to the Tories in May.
