A Labour councillor in East Yorkshire has resigned after he was charged with stalking and arson. Keith Moore (pictured) represented North ward on Goole Town Council and appeared before Hull magistrates last week. The 74-year-old is accused of setting fire to the door of a massage parlour in Hull on September 1, in addition to a separate charge of stalking.
Moore was suspended by Labour pending the outcome of criminal proceedings, but he resigned as a councillor on Tuesday. He will appear at Hull Crown Court on November 22.
Discretion Massage claims to be Hull's 'leading massage parlour' and according to its website offers an 'erotic, sexy massage' as well as 'discreet escorts'.
