TOON TUESDAY #38

Happy New Year and all that shite - let's be honest, in Starmer's Britain, there's not much to shout about going forward.  As for the man himself, a poll released this week suggests that Starmer's Labour could lose up to 200 seats if an election were held today.  Labour would lose their majority, with senior frontbenchers such as Rayner and Streeting toast, while Reform would become the third largest Commons party in a sensational surge...

AN ODE TO SIR KEIR SCROOGE

An Ode to Ebenezer Starmer

(author unknown)

'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the land,
Keir Starmer was scheming, with taxes in hand.
The grannies were starving, no heat for their fire,
While Keir and his mates drank champagne to admire.

Two-tier Keir, with his free gear spree,
Gave handouts to cronies but left none for tea.
“Tax the poor harder!” cried Rachel, with glee,
While she filled up her purse with the rich’s decree.

"Farmer Harmer", they whispered, down in the shire,
For Keir’s latest rules set their fields aflame higher.
“And what of the windmills?” Ed Miliband chimed,
“Let’s build them in Africa—on Britain’s last dime!”

David Lammy, meanwhile, with passport in hand,
Flew off to give away some far-off land.
“Where am I going?” he asked with a grin,
“Is this Europe, or Africa, or somewhere in between?”

For Christmas this year, he’ll need quite the look—
A sturdy new map and a thick history book.
Old Rachel Thieves, was next to appear,
“Let’s rob all their pockets, my conscience is clear!”

From the rich she took nothing, they gave her a grin,
While the poor cried, “What happened? We’re skint again!”
And for those who are old, with no heating or stew,
Labour's solution is ready for you.

“Take the assisted jab; we’ll see you out right,
But do it before April, or the tax man will bite!”
Up on the rooftops, they laughed and they plotted,
While the working folk’s savings grew tattered and rotted.

For free gear Keir and his mates so dear,
Were feasting on steaks while the cupboards stayed clear.
But lo, as dawn broke, the people awoke,
And saw through the plans of this laughable bloke.

“Enough of the nonsense, the taxes, the lies,
We’re taking our votes, and we’ll cut you to size!”
So here is the moral, for those who still dream,
Of leaders who promise and then plot and scheme:

Beware of the Starmer, the Lammy, the Band,
Or you’ll find yourself penniless, hand in hand.

COUNCIL BY-ELECTIONS 19.12.24

With councils winding down for Christmas, just the three by-elections took place on Thursday and no more are scheduled now until the 9th of January.

All three seats were Labour defences and once again their vote share plummeted across the board, including the Labour stronghold of Greenwich, where Labour hold 52 of the 55 council seats.  They held on in that seat, despite a Lib Dem surge, but lost both of the others.

Labour were crushed in both the Black Country and Kent, finishing third.  The Tories were the victors in Dudley, while Reform surged into second place from nowhere.  Reform were the victors in Swale, where they again came from nowhere.  Even in the leftist stronghold of Greenwich, Reform picked up almost nine per cent of the vote as newcomers.  They are fast becoming major players...

KEIR'S FOOTBALL FREEBIES

Keir Starmer and his son at an Arsenal match in August

Keir Starmer is to free gear what Novak Djokovic is to tennis, both continue to break records in their respective fields.  One of Starmer's freeloading records relates to football tickets.

Starmer is the MP with the most declared free tickets this year, worth almost £13,000 to date.  This does not include the two VIP seats that Arsenal provided for him after he became PM (and could no longer sit in the stands now he is the most hated man in Britain).  Starmer has been given free tickets by seven football clubs this year, mostly Arsenal's away opponents, and also from the Premier League itself.

Here is the list of Starmer's declared football tickets so far this year...

West Ham United vs Arsenal (February), two tickets donated by West Ham, worth £2,000
Norwich City vs Sunderland (March), four tickets donated by Norwich, worth £820
Arsenal vs Porto (March), five tickets donated by the Premier League, worth £3,000
Manchester City vs Arsenal (March), two tickets donated by Man City, worth £900
Brighton & Hove Albion vs Arsenal (April), four tickets donated by Brighton, worth £500
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Arsenal (April), four tickets donated by Wolves, worth £1,488
Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal (April), five tickets donated by Spurs, worth £2,500
Manchester United vs Arsenal (May), two tickets donated by Man United, worth £1,790

Total: £12,998

It was also the Premier League that gave Starmer four tickets to see Taylor Swift at Wembley, worth £4,000.  Starmer and his wife also met the pop star backstage and she was also given a police escort to the venue, courtesy of the Metropolitan Police - as requested by Home Secretary Yvette Cooper.

The socialist snouts are well and truly in the trough.

WOKE WEDNESDAYS #11

The Sly Old Fox is a historic Victorian pub in central Birmingham.  Now, animal rights campaigners are demanding that the 133-year-old boozer change its name, because its name is 'derogatory' towards foxes.  No, this is not a joke.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have written a public letter to the landlord, requesting that the word 'sly' is removed or replaced, as it has 'negative connotations'.  The dictionary definition of the word is to 'have or show a cunning and deceitful nature'.  However, that is besides the point - foxes can neither read or take offence.  That anyone has to explain that in writing is peak Clown World.

Elisa Allen, the PETA activist behind the letter, wrote:  "We’re sure you’ll agree that language is powerful and can reinforce negative stereotypes.  We hope you agree that these magnificent animals deserve our respect.  You can help reframe how we talk about them, which would go some way towards protecting them from cruel acts like being dug out of their homes, chased across the countryside, and viciously attacked by dogs."

Allen added that she believed the word 'clever' should replace 'sly'.  As per usual, there is no mention of the prey animals that foxes hunt and kill, which they achieve using a large amount of cunning.

Clearly a publicity seeker, Allen has also written to other pubs with equally outlandish demands.  She wants Ye Olde Fighting Cocks in St Albans to replace the word 'fighting' with 'clever' and The Old Bulldog in Staffordshire to replace 'bulldog' with 'mutt' to reflect the health issues faced by flat-faced breeds.

TOON TUESDAY #36

Labour's proposals to build 1.5million new homes were dealt a killer blow earlier this week when industry leaders told them that there simply aren't enough builders in the UK.  Tens of thousands of extra brickies, sparkies, plumbers, roofers and labourers would be required in order to meet Labour's ambitious, nigh on impossible, pledge.  Where are they going to find them?  On small boats crossing the Channel?  Most of these proposed new homes will be used to house the migrants we already have...

Meanwhile, cartoonists joined in the chorus of mockery for the housing proposals.

COUNCIL BY-ELECTIONS 12.12.24

Six seats were up for grabs on Thursday and it was a cracking night for Reform, who contested all but one seat and scored some remarkable debut figures.  They gained a seat from Labour in St Helens, taking a mixture of Labour, Green and Tory votes.

The Labour vote share was down in all six seats, including a whopping 30 point drop in Wakefield.

WOKE WEDNESDAYS #10

Female football and female pundits have been increasingly force fed to sports consumers in recent years in an apparent DEI attempt to put them on the same pedestal as the men's game.  As such, BBC Sport now gives an award for the female footballer of the year.  This year's shortlist included a Zambian player who is strongly suspected of not being a biological female at all.

Now, who do we think the Beeb gave the award to?

That's right, the geezer.  Sorry, 'alleged' geezer.

Barbra Banda was forced to withdraw from the African Cup of Nations in 2022 after failing to pass a 'gender eligibility test'.  Now Barbra is not particularly tall at 5'8'' and a flat chest is not unusual in sports women, but Banda's broad shoulders and physical power have led to a very successful career so far.  In any case, why would a bona fide female fail such a test?

Needless to say, JK Rowling and other genuine feminists were not too happy with the Beeb's selection...

THE (LEATHER) BOUNDERS

Reeves and Nandy with the leather-clad stationery costing taxpayers thousands

As Rachel Reeves tries to emulate Elon Musk's looming 'government efficiency' role in the Trump administration, an aptly timed news story emphasised just how exuberant and wasteful the British swamp is.  The Chancellor has ordered government departments to target annual savings of 5 per cent - something she reportedly described as 'taking an iron fist to waste'.  On the same day Reeves made her announcement, news broke that one such government department had blown almost £1,200 on a couple of folders - yes, you read that correcly - folders.

The Department for Culture, Media and Sport purchased the two leather-bound folders from luxury goods manufacturer Barrow Hepburn & Gale, for the sum of £594 apiece.  BBC News reports that leather-bound folders are available in the House of Commons shop for the more reasonable sum of £30 each.  Unnamed government sources apparently justified the luxury folders as they 'enhance the image of the government'.  The image portrayed is not one that will go down too well with taxpayers who fund these purchases.  The sources added that the folders 'last for years' and are only ordered 'when the need arises'.

At almost £600 a pop, these folders would have to last more than 19 years each in order to economically justify their purchase over the £30 equivalent.

Lisa Nandy heads Culture, Media and Sport, albeit other government departments - including the Treasury - buy the same folders from Barrow Hepburn & Gale.  The famous red box used by the Chancellor is also produced by the same company.  A Freedom of Information request in 2007 revealed that the Blair government spent a whopping £57,260 on leather-bound ministerial boxes over a five year period.  A box made in 2021 under the Johnson government cost taxpayers £1,100.

If Reeves' cost-cutting agenda achieves anything at all - assuming that it is not merely an empty gesture made of hot air -  it will no doubt be a drop in the ocean compared to the radical agenda proposed by Trump's 'Department of Government Efficiency', to be headed by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy after the new president is sworn in next month.

RAYNER'S HOUSING HORROR

Angela Rayner endured a car crash interview with Trevor Phillips on Sunday regarding Labour's housing plans.  The Sky News host probed the government's figures on housing and migration, suggesting that more than five out of every seven new homes will house migrants.  It was a damning indictment and Rayner knew it.

Her response was floundering and contradictory, beginning with a very articulate: "Well, that's not the troof".  Then, despite moments earlier having described a 'desperate housing crisis' that Labour would address by building 'the homes we desperately need', she then blurts out that 'there is plenty of housing in the UK'.

Phillips interrupts her rambling by pointing out the blindingly obvious:  "This doesn't quite make sense".  Clearly, importing millions more migrants to the UK is not going to make housing more accessible to Brits, but then we are dealing with a government that treats the natives with utter contempt.

Watch the clip below.

WOKE WEDNESDAYS #9

The United Nations Intelligence Taskforce (UNIT) is a long-running fictional organisation in the BBC's Doctor Who franchise, from 1968 onwards.  During the period of the Third Doctor (Jon Pertwee), the characters of the Brigadier, Sergeant Benton and Captain Yates were regulars.  The passage of time has rendered the actors who played these roles either dead or well past their retirement age.

And so it came to pass, that when UNIT was reintroduced in recent years, the organisation would be led by a female.  She appears to have no rank and no uniform and is joined in this year's woke shitshow by other female leads, a dwarf on a scooter and a mixed race trans person (a bloke masquerading as a woman).  The now black and homosexual Doctor completes the DEI scorecard...

EUTHANASIA BILL

For the past three years we have striven to make people aware of the globalist death cult, but from time to time the conditioning kicks in and resists.  Facebook, which continues to host our largest and longest-serving audience, is where this clash is most obviously felt.

Two recent posts - one on the threat of nuclear apocalypse and one on the so-called 'assisted dying bill' - both generated a divisive response.  Engaging with the comments section can be tiring, but with thousands of notifications each week these conversations are quickly overlooked and forgotten.  In a rare YouTube appearance, Richey has addressed what we are calling the Euthanasia Bill.

It will come as no great surprise to regular visitors to this page to find that we both vehemently oppose this bill and here's why (15 minute watch)...

COUNCIL BY-ELECTIONS 28.11.24

Ten seats were up for grabs on Thursday, with two of those in the Village ward of Barking and Dagenham.  Only one of the ten seats changed hands - a Lib Dem gain from Labour in Sheffield, where Labour were pushed into third by an astonishing first time effort from Reform UK.  Reform were only ten votes behind the victorious Lib Dems.

Labour's vote share was down in all the seats contested, asides from a very marginal increase in Fife.  They held seven of the eight seats they were defending, but on the current trajectory they are heading for an electoral spanking in the next local elections.

A SELECTIVE BLASPHEMY LAW

Tahir Ali's proposal is intended to protect Islam from criticism

A Birmingham MP and second generation Pakistani called on Keir Starmer to implement what amounts to a blasphemy law during Wednesday's PMQs.  Tahir Ali, MP for Birmingham Hall Green and Moseley, highlighted the timing as 'Islamophobia Awareness Month' and proceeded to call for 'measures to prohibit the desecration of all religious texts and the prophets of the Abrahamic religions'.

Ali is one of four Muslim members of Labour's Socialist Campaign Group and is highly supportive of the Palestinian cause, while being highly critical of Israel.  He can speak about 'Abrahamic religions' all he likes, but his intentions are clearly not intended to defend Judaism, or Christianity for that matter.  He framed the question around 'Islamophobia Awareness Month', so we know exactly what he wants to protect from criticism.  Also, by using that term, he conveniently omits Sikhs and Hindus as they are not of the 'Abrahamic faiths'.  What we have here is a bigot, born and bred in Birmingham, but whose loyalties are to Pakistan and Islam.

Watch the clip below, including Starmer's response, in which he does not rule it out...

We don't need more laws to protect Islam from criticism in this country, in fact we need to be able to speak more freely about this fifth column threat to the fabric of our society, whether that be innocent civilians blown up or stabbed to death, young girls groomed and raped or school teachers in hiding.  Our society - whether you are religious or not - is rooted in Christianity.  Defend it at all costs.

Imagine taking a classic British motoring brand, synonymous shall we say with older affluent gentlemen, and completely demolishing it with a rebrand aimed at a tiny minority of progressive sub-human androgynous trash who have no interest in driving cars, less so Jaguars...

Then, if you can, imagine that you remove the big cat - from which the brand is named and with which it has been associated since 1945 - from the logo and replace it with bland semi-literate lettering (a mix of capitals and lower case lettering, as if written by a five-year-old)...

Finally, imagine that the painfully woke advert does not feature so much as a tail-light or wheel trim of the very product said business is supposedly trying to sell.  That's right, the Jaguar rebrand ad does not feature a car!

Needless to say, the backlash against the brand has been off the scale and share prices nose-dived in a series of events very reminiscent of Anheuser-Busch in the wake of its braindead decision to use a trans individual to promote its Bud Light beer.  Furthermore, the response of Jaguar's bosses towards the consumer backlash has been oh so predictable.  Critics are full of 'vile hatred and intolerance' raged managing director Rawdon Glover (that is not a made-up name, apparently).  Whether he loves dong or not, he and his car firm are guilty of the most aggregious intolerance towards their own customer base, who, as we have already discussed, are not exactly over-populated by non-binary alphabet people.

The continuing theme of destroying brands in favour of post-human trans propaganda is testament to just how advanced our civilisation has fallen into the grips of communism.  Big multinational companies who used to be all about making profits and answering to their shareholders, now appear to answer to the DEI gods of Blackrock, while presumably transferring their wealth upwards as the proletariat ants below them waste away in net zero poverty.

We simply must resist this sick world they are driving us towards.

BUYER'S REMORSE

While many people correctly surmised that the huge petition that gathered pace over the weekend would not result in any form of systemic change, it has undoubtedly turned up the pressure dial on Keir Starmer.  Our part-time PM faced awkward questions upon his return to work this week, and while he squirmed in the face of media questioning, his strategy became clear - blame all those who didn't vote Labour.

Now we all know that there are voters up and down these lands who put their cross next to Labour candidates in July and who are now regretting that decision.  Starmer's plummeting approval rating and Labour's tanking in the polls are both indicative of buyer's remorse.  When he took office, Labour were enjoying a double digit lead - anywhere from 10-19 points depending on the poll - but that poll lead began to shrink rapidly, up to the point that some pollsters now have the Tories in the lead.

That is quite a turnaround for a government elected with a huge majority just a few months ago and, even with a fairly significant margin of error, suggests that a significant number of voters will have turned their backs on Labour.

Starmer knows this, too.  He is well aware of just how unpopular he is, no matter what bubble he envelops himself in.  His back door escape from the recent Labour conference in Wales shows that he and his advisors are well aware of the growing anger outside.  Imagine being a newly elected PM with such a huge majority, but being unable to show your face in public?

From pensioners to businesses, to farms and the poorest in society, twelve months from now there will be seldom few across these islands who are not feeling the pinch of Starmer's rush to inflict globalist policies on the UK.

Many of these people voted Labour and they're not going to do so again any time soon.  Starmer's assertion that those demanding another election are purely 'those who didn't vote Labour' not only misrepresents the situation, it is a lie on his part.

The petition in question - to call a new general election in light of Labour's lies - ran out of steam on Tuesday and is currently stalled at less than 2.8million.  An impressive figure nonetheless, and with a Commons debate likely to follow, it is sure to remind the masses just how unpopular this man is.

Finally, MPs will vote on the so-called 'Assisted Dying Bill' this Friday.  We prefer to call it the Euthanasia Bill, which is what it is, and we expect that if it is ever made law it will gradually be amended and expanded to include all manner of ailments until basically one day anyone can end their life - regardless of whether they are sick or not.  Never forget that YOU are the carbon these people want to reduce...
