COUNCIL BY-ELECTIONS 12.12.24

Six seats were up for grabs on Thursday and it was a cracking night for Reform, who contested all but one seat and scored some remarkable debut figures.  They gained a seat from Labour in St Helens, taking a mixture of Labour, Green and Tory votes.

The Labour vote share was down in all six seats, including a whopping 30 point drop in Wakefield.
